Description Adult is gray-buff above; dark wings have two white wing bars. Eye is relatively large, with white surround and underparts are flushed rich buff, palest on throat and undertail coverts. Juvenile is similar, but duller.

Range Southwest
Discussion Large-headed flycatcher, with upright perched posture. A mainly Mexican species; occasional visitor to mountain coniferous forests in southeastern Arizona (May-Sep).
