Description The Mussel Worm is in the class Polychaeta, subclass Errantia. The Errantia are worms that move about. Errant polychaetes generally have well-developed, paired appendages (parapodia), trunk segments all similar to each other, good locomotory ability, and a head with eyespots and sensory appendages. They are predators, browsers, or bottom-dwelling deposit feeders.
