Description Shrub or small deciduous perennial tree. Bark light gray, white. Stems erest stiff, woody; sprawling with age. Flowers orange, red, brownish, tubular, 5 cm. long, with 4 curling lobes, 2 stamens, and a long, white pistil and bloom sporadically during warm season. Leaves green, short-stemmed, elliptical, opposite each other or in clusters.
