Description Short tail, flat head & body. Brown above, yellow underside. 13 costal grooves.


Dimensions 5-11cm. (2 1/2- 4 3/8")


Breeding Unknown.


Habitat Limestone cliffs covered in moss above 1,200'.


Range Mariposa County, California.


Discussion Only Salamander to be found in the Old and New World. Mushroom like tongue. Diet includes small invertebrates.
