Description Parnassius clodius (MÈnÈtries, 1835) is a high altitude butterfly which is found in the U.S. and Canada. It is a member of the Snow Apollo genus Parnassius of the Swallowtail (Papilionidae) family.

Habitat Canyons & caves, Forests & woodlands, Meadows & fields.
Range Southwest, Rocky Mountains, Alaska, Western Canada, California, Northwest.
