Anagallis

I cannot find anything on the genus Anagallis. I was wondering if you could suggest a website that is good for taxonomy. Keith

Dear Keith,

The PLANTS Database is a resource compiled by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRDC), a branch of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. As stated on their home page, it "...is a single source of standardized information about plants. This database focuses on vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories. The PLANTS Database includes names, checklists, automated tools, identification information, species abstracts, distributional data, crop information, plant symbols, plant growth data, plant materials information, plant links, references, and other plant information." Simply select 'scientific name' and type in 'Anagallis' for links to the various species in their database. This extensive website will take you deep into the world of plants. Enjoy!
