Bluebirds in November in GA

We have had bluebirds in our bluebird house for the last three years in the spring. For the last week, two pairs of bluebirds have been fighting over the bluebird house, and this is the first week of November near Atlanta. Our weather has been warmer than usual, but is it normal for bluebirds to be in the Atlanta area in November?

Birding Expert - George H. Harrison

It is not unusual for eastern bluebirds to remain in the North, much farther north than Atlanta, throughout the mild winters that we have experienced in recent years. The bluebirds are roosting in the birdhouse, not nesting. There is a record of 13 male bluebirds sharing one house overnight as a roost.
