Ringneck snake

We found a baby ringneck snake, about 3 inches long. we would like to keep it how should we care for it and feed it?

Wildlife Expert - Ken Burton

It is probably not a good idea to try to keep this snake as a pet, you will have trouble finding it food during the winter, and Im sure youd feel awful if it just wasted away and died in your care. Baby snakes taken from the wild usually do not adjust well to captivity, so you should try to find a woodpile or a rotting log where this snake can get to a safe place to hibernate before the weather gets too cold.
