rocky shoals spider lily

This is about a plantthat is native to North America. I know that it grows in Rock Hill,SC in the Catawba River but where else does it grow and is it endangered? The only thing I could find out on this website is the Lady Bird Johnson list and it was called Carolina Spider Lily and I don't know if they are the same. It is white and is a member of the amarillis family. Janice

The Rocky Shoals Spider Lily (Hymenocallis coronaria), also called the Shoals Spiderlily and Cahaba Lily, grows in South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, mostly near the Fall Line, which is the inland edge of the Coastal Plain. It is a Candidate for federal listing and is state listed as Endangered in Georgia and "of concern" in the other states. However, the Nature Conservancy gives it its second-highest endangerment rating for South Carolina. It is not the same species as the Carolina Spider Lily (Hymenocallis caroliniana).
