Snapping turtle

What is the safest and most efficient way to remove snapping turtles from a pond and put them in to a different pond?

Wildlife Expert - David Herlocker

When Snapping turtles get big, they can become a problem in a small pond, they can eat other desired species such as fish, ducklings, frogs and just about anything that swims too close. There are several different humane turtle traps on the market specifically designed to capture Snappers. These traps can also be used to hold the turtles during transfer. When you use a bottom trap for snapping turtles, be certain to set it in a shallow location with at least one corner above the surface, and anchor it firmly so that the turtle can breathe while it is confined. Floating traps do not work well for Snapping turtles.
